Willie James Howard

Willie J. Howard, affectionately known as Pop, age 71, of Stamford, passed away into peaceful rest Friday, October 9th 2020 surrounded by family and friends. Willie was born on October 1, 1949 in Chicago. IL. The beloved son of Dorothy Lee Shinn. Raised in Aberdeen, MI. He then migrated to Stamford, Connecticut at age19. He worked at the Stamford Advocated for many years. Recently he retired and relocated to Bridgeport, with his daughter and enjoyed spending precious time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Willie was a loving son, brother uncle father and friend. Willie is predeceased by his mother Dorothy, his brothers Walter and Leon Shinn. Willie leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Rhondagail Howard; brother, Cleveland Shinn; grandchildren, Anthony Irick, David Howard, Curtis Howard, Trenetta Horner, Arial Howard; great grandchildren, Zyannah Washington-Murray, Jaiden Irick, Saniyah Howard, Nariyah Howard, Zaire Irick, Aaliyah Howard also survived by family and friends.
