William 'Weev' Mims

William Henry Mims, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the age of 47. He was born on April 4, 1969 in Norwalk, Connecticut to the late Connie Dash and Juanita Mims. He was the eldest child of four. He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved children, William Dickey of Bridgeport, Darrel McFadden of New Britain and Shanae Hickman of Boston, MA; his mother, Juanita Mims of New Haven; two sisters, Theresa Mims of New Haven and Evertha Mims of Bridgeport; a brother, Kenneth Mims of Norwalk; a granddaughter, Zariah Dickey of Bridgeport; three aunts, Laura Howard of Tampa, FL, Perrilee Mims of Waterbury, and Kim Mims of Bridgeport; one uncle, David Mims of Norwalk; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his aunt, Betty "Fatty" Mims Dessances and uncle, Claude "Fella" Howard. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Community Funeral Chapels - 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport CT 06604. A Sky Lantern Release in celebration of William's life will take place after the memorial service at Seaside Park in Bridgeport.
