William Hernandez Sr.

William Hernandez Sr., age 59, of Bridgeport, Connecticut entered eternal rest on May 31, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut. On September 28, 1961 William was born to the late Juan Hernandez and the late Ramona Rosaro in Bridgeport, Connecticut where he was a lifelong resident. He grew up with his 4 brothers and 5 sisters. William was affectionately know by "Willie". He spent his days working hard in construction but always managed to have a coffee in his hand. Willie was very proud of his Puerto Rican heritage and spent many days listening to salsa music and teaching his children and grandchildren to play the congas. He was a kind man always willing to help others. Willie focused on his family especially taking care of his late wife Roselia (Romero) Hernandez. Willie is survived by: children William Hernandez Jr. (Denise), Juan Hernandez (Shanika), Irene Hernandez and Willie Hernandez; grandchildren Javier, Jerimiah, Cameron, Anisa, Jordan, Imani, Nasir and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
