Wilfredo 'Freddy' Heredia Colon

Wilfredo Heredia Colon, age 66, of Bridgeport, entered into peaceful rest Monday, May 6th 2019 surrounded by the loving care of his family at his sister's residence. Wilfredo was affectionately known as Freddy, born December 2nd 1952 in Utuado, Puerto Rico the beloved son of the late Octavio Heredia & Julia Colon. Freddy was a father of six, good provider, worked hard as a machine operator, a mechanic and auto body worker. In Wilfredo's past time he enjoyed playing guitar and listening to music. He had a great sense of humor and loved to flirt with the ladies. He will be truly missed. Besides his parents Wilfredo is predeceased by daughter, Mariana Heredia; brothers, Hiram, Angel, Jose Leonides, Luis Heredia; grandson, Gerimiah Gongora. Freddy is survived by: children, Carmen Heredia, Daisy Heredia, Wilfredo Heredia Jr; Jessica Heredia, Yarivette Heredia; siblings, Nancy, Nydia, Samia, Rosealina, Evelyn, Lourdes, Jeannette, Nilsa, Mildred, Edwin, Reynaldo Heredia; eight grandchildren, Tirian Gongora Jr., Curtis Gongora, Daitriana Gongora, Tiana Gongora, Leaniyah Torres, Arianna Gongora, Franklin Torres III, Dariel Esteban Ortiz Heredia and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish his memory.
