Walter Giovanni Zea

Walter Giovanni Zea-Honce, age 55 of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Karina G. Carpio Espinoza, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Stamford Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Walter was born April 1, 1964 in Guayas, Guayaquil, Ecuador, the beloved son of Walter T. Zea & Maria Teresa Honce. Walter was a loving and dedicated husband, father, brother, son, and friend. He loved staying busy and working on one of his many projects. Walter was a handyman and a "Mr. Fix-It." He could fix just about anything. Some of his talents and hobbies included automotive repair, carpentry, electrical work, and computers. Walter had a large collection of music and enjoyed dancing and DJ'ing. He was kind, friendly, had a great sense of humor, and loved telling stories to his family and friends. Walter often affectionately referred to his closest friends as "Pinchito," "Pinchita," and "Captain." He will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him. In addition to his wife of over 18 years, and his parents, Walter is survived by his daughter, Angelina Zea - Carpio; sister, Alexandra Zea; brother, Gustavo Zea; brother, Miguel Angel Zea; sister, Ruth Maria Zea; dear niece, Johanna Decelleri; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
