Vidal Agosto Quiones, age 90 the beloved husband of Maria Agosto returned to the loving arms of the Lord on, Wednesday, October 6th 2021 surrounded by his family. Vidal was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on April 21st 1931. He was the son of the late Ceferino Agosto and Inocencia Quiones. At age 28 Vidal married his true-life companion Maria V. Rivera Agosto, they spent 62 years together raising their family. Vidal worked in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the Superior court for 13 years as a data clerk. Vidal and Maria relocated to Bridgeport, CT in 1964. Vidal worked at Bridgeport Hospital for 29 years as a storeroom clerk, until his retirement. Vidal was a loving father and provider, an active and dedicated member of the Bridgeport Community; he served many positions. He was a baseball coach, democratic district leader, town council member and loyal servant of Saint Luke's Saint Paul's Episcopal Church where he also volunteered for 23 years at the food pantry. Vidal valued his family, church, and community. Besides his parents, Vidal was predeceased by his siblings: Antonio Agosto, Sylvia Agosto, Paula Agosto and Teresita Torres. Vidal leaves to cherish his memory: spouse, Maria V. Agosto; children, Vidal Agosto Jr; Carlos Alberto Agosto, Wanda Ivelise Agosto, Joshua V. Agosto; brother, Pedro Torres and sister, Norma Torres. He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
