Venette Dubuisson

Venette Dubuisson, age 97, of Bridgeport entered in heavenly rest Thursday, September 11th, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. Venette was outgoing, stern, and very family oriented. She loved talking to people. She took special interest in cooking and was an excellent baker. She took pride in her business and was well known for her ability to make dresses. Venette had a strong passion for taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Venette was born on Saturday, March 3rd, 1917 in Jacmel, Haiti to the late Oralice Caillot and Clairemellie Clairesaint. She reunites in heaven with her parents; Oralice and Clairemellie, her husband Gerard Guery, and her four children; Harianne, Lucieanne, Suzette, and Lionel. Venette is survived by her children, Gerda, Julio, Guy, Rodrique, Ginette, Elza and Ketty, siblings, Zacharee, Decnois, Imaine, Famercie and Germaine. Venette also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, family and friends. Venette will be greatly missed by all.
