Vanessa Ramirez was born on August 7th, 1983, in Bridgeport, CT to the late Rosa Ramirez and Benjamin Perez.
Vanessa was educated in the Bridgeport school system and was a lifelong resident of the city of Bridgeport. She held diverse jobs throughout her lifetime, such as in food service, retail, and office work. She loved going to the beach, cooking scrumptious meals for her loved ones, and engaging and completing all sorts of puzzles. Vanessa will always be remembered as a loving, strong, outgoing, and independent women with a heart of gold and a smile that can’t be forgotten.
On January 9th, 2025, while in Bridgeport Hospital, Vanessa gracefully transitioned into her eternal life surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her daughter Rosalie Ramirez (Taj Geter), son Jose Rivera of Bridgeport, CT, brother Pedro Ramirez of Florida, Lifetime companion Ramon Barksdale, as well as many beloved aunts, cousins, her nephew, and friends with loads of joyful memories to cherish.
