Valencia Monette Winstead "Val" age 57, of West Haven, entered into heavenly rest, Tuesday July 24th, 2012 in St. Raphael's Hospital, New Haven. Valencia was a Born Again Believer, avid reader, graphic designer, who recently graduated with an A.A in psychology, from University of Phoenix. She also enjoyed sitting outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren. Valencia was born June 5th, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY. The daughter of the late Nathan S. Winstead & surviving mother Rev. Nancy L. (Winstead) Hatch of NC (Wille).
