Tito S. Aponte, 74, of Norwalk, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on April 6th, 2021 at Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford, Connecticut. Tito was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on July 21,1946, son of the late Domingo and Catalina Aponte. He came to live in Norwalk, CT at a very young age where he resided all of his life. Tito always had a passion for sports especially for dominoes and softball. He was the president of the Federation of Dominoes of Connecticut and vice-president to the dominoes Connecticut Dream Team. He was also owner/manager of many teams of the Bridgeport Borinquen league. Throughout the years he received many honors, awards, and trophies. Tito is predeceased by his parents, and by his siblings Domingo Aponte Jr., Carlos, Esther Maria, and Daniel. Tito is survived by: 7 children. Norma Iris, Wanda, Vito, Jorge, Betty, Hernan, Tito Jr; siblings, William, Nelson, Tomasa, Nilda, Ana Mara, Norma, Elizabeth, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren who will forever cherish his memory.
