Teresa De Jesus Chavez De Moreno

Teresa de Jesus Chavez de Moreno, age 73 of Norwalk, wife of the late Moises Antonio Moreno, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Norwalk Hospital, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Teresa was born November 1, 1943 in San Salvador, the beloved daughter of the late Salvador Chavez & Teresa Castro Calvo. Teresa was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother & great-grandmother, and a faithful servant to her Lord. She always put God and her family first. Teresa was a strong woman and a fighter till the end. She was filled with love and taught others to love as she did. Those who had the honor of knowing her will miss her deeply. Besides her husband & parents, Teresa was predeceased by her sister, Rosa Elsy Mejia. Teresa is survived by: children; Hugo Moreno, Moises Moreno, Mirna Moreno, Sonia Moreno, Carlos Moreno; siblings; Salvador Chavez, Oscar Chavez; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
