Tequea 'Fifi' Gandy

Tequea "FiFi" Lasha Gandy, entered into eternal rest Friday, May 3rd, 2013 in Bridgeport, CT. Tequea was born in Columbus, Mississippi on Tuesday, July 11th, 1978 to Eric Collins and the late Elizabeth (Maxine) Gandy. Tequea came to Bridgeport as a newborn when her mother relocated and met, Gary Grace, who raised and loved Tequea as his own. Educated in the Bridgeport School System, Tequea later went on to earn a Certificate as a Dental Assistant and until her illness worked as a dental assistant in Stratford. Fifi had huge dreams of becoming a rap star / model, she frequently free-styled according to her mood at the point and time. An avid jewelry collector, Fifi was out spoken, loving and forgiving often at the same time. Her boisterous free spirit will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Left to cherish Fifi's memory are; son, Andre Smith Jr., sisters; Natarsha Gandy Jones (Ronald), Kashunda Gandy, step-sister, Tara Wirtemburg, step-brother, Joseph Wirtemburg, niece, TyAsia Francis and nephew Joshua Francis all of Bridgeport. A host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends will carry Fifi's memory in their hearts. God has truly gained an angel and the world has lost an extraordinary woman.
