Teddy Moore, age 54 of Bridgeport, the spouse of Carmen Moore Hernandez passed into peaceful rest Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at his home in Parrish, FL. Teddy was born on August 29, 1968 in the Bronx, New York; the beloved son of Maria Malpica Garcia and late step father Gilberto Garcia. Teddy was the fourth born of five. He was raised in Bridgeport, CT. and was affectionately known as Ted. Teddy had a passion for ammunition, cars, motorcycles, trucks, a true motor head. He worked as an auto glass technician for many years in Bridgeport, and Georgia. A supportive son, Ted helped in various family businesses including the Cueva nightclub. In his pastime Teddy enjoyed sports, music, dance, socializing and always lent a helping hand to those in need. Teddy lived up to his name, he was the strong protector, the teddy bear of the family. Teddy is survived by: mother, Maria Garcia of CT; spouse, Carmen Moore Hernandez of FL; 4 siblings: William (Virginia) Bernard of MA; Angel (Diana) Bernard of CT; Norma (Marshall) Roberts of OH; Christopher Moore of CA; 2 sons: Teddy Moore Jr; Christopher Moore; grandson, Valin Moore and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends that will cherish his memory.
