Sylvia Diana 'Silbo' Thompson

Sylvia Diana Thompson, "Silbo" age 62, the devoted spouse of 33 years of Billy Thompson, entered into heavenly rest Friday, August 5th 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital. Sylvia was a loving mother with strict morals, who put her family first. Sylvia was very supportive in her family's cleaning company Mr. Beez. She enjoyed traveling and had a great sense of humor. Sylvia was born Monday, September 21st 1953 in Mobile, Alabama, the beloved daughter of the late Clifford Spraggins & Alfreda Spencer. Sylvia was the oldest of five. Besides her father Sylvia was predeceased by step son Rufus Thompson. Sylvia is survived by: mother, Alfreda Alma & step father Clarence Spencer of AL; husband, Billy Thompson of CT; son, Isaac & daughter-in-law Rainelle Drungo of NC; two daughters, Tasha Shelton & daughter-in-law Latoya Manns of CT. Charliese & son-in-law Charles Dodson of RI; step daughter, Jeanette McDaniels of MA; two step sons, Billy & daughter-in law Buffy Thompson, Benji Thompson both of ID; sister, Brenda Cook of MD; Debora Fields of AL; brother, Harold & Doreen Drungo of CT; sister, Iva Williams of CT; twelve grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish Silbo's memory. Viewing will be held Thursday, August 11th 2016 from 9:00am to 11:00am. A Celebration of Silvia's Life will proceed at 11:00am all at Shiloh Baptist Church 477 Broad St. Bridgeport, CT. 06604. Interment will be held Monday, August 15th 2016 at Rosemary Baptist Church Cemetery Camden, AL.
