Steven Derocher, age 65 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at RegalCare of Southport, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Steven was born May 15, 1954 in Bridgeport, CT; the beloved son of the late Herbert Derocher & Shirley Filo. Steven was a kind and quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He was an avid reader and never missed an opportunity to sit by the water to fish. Steven had two nieces and a nephew who he was incredibly proud of. He will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him. Along with his parents, Steven was predeceased by two brothers: Michael Faccento and Leo Derocher. Steven is survived by his sister, Ruth Velez of Seymour; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
