Shirley Temple Williams

Shirley Temple Williams, age 50 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Shirley was born April 15, 1968 in Bridgeport, Connecticut; the beloved daughter of Lila (Hamilton) Williams and the late Cornelius Williams. Shirley was a loving and dedicated mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She worked with disabled children and fostered children for six years. Later Shirley became an entrepreneur investing in real-estate. She was an outspoken super star diva who loved the color red. She enjoyed singing, spending time with loved ones, and working hard to provide for her family. She will be missed dearly. In addition to her father, Shirley was predeceased by: stepfather, Jack Pierce; son, Tremane Williams; brother, Gardner Williams. Shirley is survived by: mother, Lila Williams; four siblings, Lucillar Williams of Bridgeport, Lorraine Williams of Waterbury, Grady Coleman of Alabama, Richard Williams of New Jersey; two granddaughters, Tianna Williams, Janiyla Williams; three nephews, Corneilus William Brian Cooper, Denzel Williams; three nieces, Lila D. Williams, Loretta Cooper, Lucillar Williams, life partner, Shawn Smith; son, Shawn Smith, daughter, Jamella Smith; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
