Sharrisse Shavonne Thompson

Sharrisse Shavonne Thompson, 42, of Bridgeport, CT, passed away on August 5, 2025. She was born on March 24, 1983, to Nina Thompson and the late Clinton LeGrande.

Shavonne was a long-time resident of Connecticut, spending most of her life in Bridgeport, but also spent some time in Waterbury, Hartford and Meriden. Shavonne was known for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and bubbly personality. She was fiercely loyal. If she loved you, no matter the situation, she would be ready and available to "take that ride" Shavonne was an individual that loved hard, partied hard and protected hard.

Shavonne is survived by her loving mother, Nina Diggs, & stepfather, Robert Diggs. She leaves behind her siblings: Tirrell Thompson of Bridgeport, CT; Nikki & Jorge Benitez (née Thompson) of Bridgeport, CT; Mia Diggs of Albany, NY; Tameeka Diggs of Albany, NY; and Diandra Thompson of Bridgeport, CT. Her Aunt Brenda Shields of Derby, CT. A special cousin, Cheryl Thompson of Bridgeport, CT. A special niece & nephew Dashe’nay and Shinji Jackson of Bridgeport, CT, “The Love of Her Life” Jermaine Foster of Bridgeport, CT; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Shavonne was predeceased by her father, Clinton LeGrande; her aunt, Felicia Pride; her grandparents, John & Bertha Moore; and an angel who never got to fly, Jaclint Daniels.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. May she find the peace she never found on Earth, and rest gracefully.
