Sharon Woods

Sharon Woods age 50, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 7, 2019 surrounded by the love and care of her family. Sharon was born February 23, 1969, in Stamford, CT. the beloved daughter of surviving parents Jannie Woods and LeRoy Woods. Sharon graduated from Central High School and then attended the University of Bridgeport. She worked a variety of positions. Sharon was truly a "Jill of all trades". Sharon loved spending time with her family and music. Sharon had a smile and laugh that would light up every room she walked into. Sharon loved being the center of attention and being the best-dressed/most confident person in the room. Besides her parents Sharon is survived by: three children, Devin Woods, Dennis Woods, Derrick Woods; brother, Rodney Woods; sister, Kristal Woods, three grandchildren, Lariyah, Dennis Jr., Devin Jr., and a host of aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. She will truly be missed for she has taught us all of love and understanding when she was around. Although, we hate to see her go, we're thankful God allowed us to have her for a little while we understand her fight was over, it was her time. Sharon was strong and courageous.
