Sergio “Chino” Ramos Jr., a beloved family man, passed away peacefully at his home in Bridgeport, CT on May 15, 2024, at the age of 69. Sergio was born on May 16, 1954, in San Lorenzo, PR. He was born to parents Sergio Ramos Serrano and Ana Maria Alicea Cruz of San Lorenzo, PR
He was preceded to heaven by his father Sergio Ramos, sister Victoria Velez Ramos, brother Jose E. Ramos, and sister Luisa Ramos as well as grandparents, uncles, and aunts.
He is survived by his three sons: Sergio Luis Ramos of Waterbury, CT, Anthony Ramos of Bridgeport, CT, and Jonathan Ramos of Bridgeport, CT; five grandchildren: Lillian,
Anthony Jr., Aisha, Jonathan Jr., and Noah; three great grandchildren: Selena, Sarai, and Anthony III.; five sisters Carmen G. Ramirez and Hector of Bridgeport, CT, Teresa
Morales of New Britain, CT, Margarita Lozada of Manchester, CT, Bienvenida Ramos and Arturo Morales of San Lorenzo, PR, and Ana C. Ramos and Luis Morales of New
Britain, CT.; three brothers: Andres Ramos of San Lorenzo, PR, Jose R. Ramos and Ana D. Ocasio of San Lorenzo, PR, and Dr. Luis Ramos and Jannette of Columbia, CT as well
as many, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, great
grandnephews, and cousins.
His family was his greatest pride, and he cherished every moment spent with them, offering unwavering support and endless love. Sergio had an extraordinary ability to make friends easily. His warm personality and genuine kindness endeared him to everyone he met. He leaves behind a community of friends who were touched by his generosity, humor, and the joy he brought into their lives.
Sergio's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, his laughter, and his love. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, Sergio. Your memory will forever be in our hearts.
