Santos Roldan Serrano

Santos Roldan Serrano, lovingly known as “Santi,” age 71, of Derby, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 14, 2026.

Santos was born on January 14, 1955, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, where he was raised by his loving parents, Santas Serrano and Esperanza Roldan. He spent his early years in Puerto Rico before relocating to Connecticut, where he made Norwalk his home for over 25 years.

Santi was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his kind, loving nature. He had a big heart and was deeply caring toward everyone he met. His laughter, warmth, and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He worked diligently in the community, owning and operating a bodega on Ely Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut, where he built meaningful connections with customers and neighbors alike. 

Santos was a devoted father to his two children, Maria del Carmen Roldan and Alejandro Roldan, whom he loved dearly.

 He is predeceased by his father, Esperanza Roldan, and is survived by his mother, Santa Serrano, his children, and his beloved family, along with many relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.Funeral services have been entrusted to Community Funeral Chapels located at 798 Park Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06604.
