Sadie V Middleton

Sadie Vera Middleton, age 77, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away on January 23, 2022 in Hartford, Connecticut. On November 8, 1944 Sadie was welcomed into the world by her beloved parents Frederick Hamilton-Small "Freddie" and Rosa Lee Middleton in Charleston, South Carolina. Sadie attended Burke High School in Charleston SC, where she received her diploma. She expressed her love of art through her drawings. Sadie was very family oriented and loved to travel. She was known to be humorous, smart, loyal, and loving with a great spirit in all that she accomplished. Sadie Middleton later then migrated to Brooklyn, NY and acquired a job as a secretary. She strived and worked hard to provide for herself and her only son, Jermaine Middleton. Sadie was a devoted mother and having her son was a defining moment in her life. If anyone knew Sadie, they knew Jermaine "could do no wrong." Sadie then moved to Bridgeport, CT to provide a better lifestyle for her and Jermaine. She believed in doing things "the rightway." Sadie was a devoted Christian and made sure she did everything that was pleasing in God's eyes. She was a pillar not only in the church but also in her community. Her doors were always open to all and everyone that she loved. Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, was a hard and difficult day. The final call to Sadie would be the one in which God called her home. She is now joined with her mother Rosa Lee Middleton, father Frederick Hamilton-Small, her brother Marshall Miller, sisters Martha Miller Hooper and Blanch Miller, uncle Duncan Small, her aunts Virginia Small and Dorothy Wright, and her nephew Shabar Perry. Sadie's memory will be cherished by her loving family and friends. She leaves behind her son, Jermaine, grandchildren, Davon, Lashaun (Pudgie), Jermaine Jr., Jeremy and Jayden, great grandchild Leilani Sky Middleton, her sister Charlotte Perry, aunt Thelma (Sweet T), cousin Freddie Small, her only niece Sharmeca Perry and nephews Merritt and Latwoine Parker. Death is the hardest part of life. Sadie will forever be missed. Sleep easy grandma, mom, aunt, niece, cousin, friend. Just know that you are well loved and thank you for all the fond memories.
