Ruth Gates Lester

Ruth Gates Lester age 98 of Naugatuck entered into heavenly rest Sunday, December 8, 2013. Ruth was a loving mother, enjoyed playing cards, cooking and baking. Ruth was born Saturday, October 9, 1915 in Bridgeport the beloved daughter of the late Walter and Mary Walker. In death, Ruth will be reunited with her husband the late Earl Franklin Lester. Ruth is survived by her brother Walter Walker. Ruth is also survived by her children: son, Earl Lester, daughter, Mary Keeler and daughter, Aseneth Merced, grandchildren; Eugene Salvatore, Alberto Matthew Merced, Michael Salvatore, Christopher Lester, Thomas Lester and Kimberly Merced, great grandchildren; Joey Richman, Erin Richman, Alex Vieira, Linsey Vieira, Haley Lester, Karl Chludinsky, Matthew Merced, and Jacob Irizarry.
