Rufina Torres

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rufina Sevilla Torres, age 100, on October 16, 2022. She was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico November 9, 1921 to the late Cristino Sevilla Sanjurjo and Petronila Rodriguez Santiago. Rufina (Fina) Torres was married to the late Nicolas Torres for 65 years. Rufina Sevilla Torres worked as a nurse's aide at Park City Hospital BPT, CT. She loved playing bingo, she also loved her "Dunkie Donuts Coffee" as she would say, with her old fashion donut and watching her favorite team the New York Yankees play. She loved going to her church St. George BPT, CT. Rufina had a beautiful simple life and was loved by so many. Rufina "Fina" Sevilla Torres is survived by: 2 daughters, Carmen Mercedes Llanos, Maria Isabel Garcia; niece, Maria Gomez; grandchildren, Maria Prim (Michael Prim), Angel Llanos Jr., Santiago Llanos, Zoraida Sherald (Anthony Sherald), Sammy Garcia (Michelle Garcia), Stephanie Garcia Bussolotti (Christian Bussolotti); great-grandchildren; Janay Prim, Ashley Prim Janelle Llanos, Jalen Sherald (Re'Necia Sherald), Jordan Sherald, Jada Sherald, Joshua Sherald, Steffen Garcia Angel Llanos III, Julia Llanos, Angelica Llanos, Ivanna Llanos Santiago Llanos Jr, Jonay Llanos. Nathanael Garcia, Josiah Garcia, Shayanah Garcia, Shamir Garcia, Mackenzie Hall, Bella Bussolotti; great greatgrandchildren; Ivanelle Rodriguez, Jaivanel Rodriguez, Chanelle Rodriguez and a host of extended family and friends. Besides her parents and spouse Rufina was predeceased by her son Alberto Hernandez and grandson Richard Garcia. Rufina Fina Finitin you will be missed.
