Ruby Fountain

Ruby (Alston) Fountain, age 79, of Bridgeport, died peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, April 21st, 2013 at home, with her family by her side. Ruby was a longtime area resident of Bridgeport and was retired from Sikorsky Aircraft. Ruby was born in Burlison, Tennessee on February 14th, 1934, the oldest child of the late Emanuel and Naomi Alston. She is survived by her loving children: Juanita Alston, Mildred (Fred) Manning, Denise Fountain, Mark Fountain all of Bridgeport and Caroline Bracey of West Haven. Ruby is also survived by: four brothers, Vernon (Hazel) Alston, Ermon Alston, Verdell Alston, three sisters, Betty Hollins all of Chicago, IL., Lillie Mae Alston, of Bridgeport, Evelyn (Bob) Jude of Royal Palm Beach, FL., a host of extended family and friends that will cherish her memory. Friends and relatives are invited to the Celebration of Ruby's Life on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Miracle Faith World Outreach Church 66 Harriet St. Bridgeport, with a viewing from 10:00am to 11:00 am, services 11:00am to 1:00pm officiated by Bishop Bobby Davis.
