Ruben Rivera Ruben Rivera, age 73, a resident of Bridgeport for 21 years, went into heavenly rest Friday, July 9th, 2010 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. Born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, to the late Juan & Evangelia Rivera, Ruben is survived by sister Ceferina Rivera of PR. Ruben was dedicated provider to his family, survived by his beloved wife, Olegaria Rivera for 40 years, their eight children: Hector Rivera of FL., Mirna & spouse Freddy Trinidad of BPT., Miriam & spouse Edwin Vega of BPT., Yolanda Rivera of BPT., Ruban Rivera Jr. of BPT., Raphael Rivera of PR., Fernando & wife Mercedes Rivera of PR. and Victoria Rivera of BPT. Ruben is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many friends and extended family that cherish his memory. Friends may greet the family Thursday, July 15th, 2010 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave. BPT. Interment held in Maunabo, PR.
