Roscoe Bennett Jr. Passed away peacefully on January 1, 2015 at the age of 73 in Bridgeport, CT. He was born on June 7, 1941. He was a native of Ridgeland, SC and resided in Stamford, CT for over 40 years. He is predeceased by his parents Roscoe Sr. and Claries Bennett and one sibling, Calvin Bernard Bennett. His memory will be cherished by his children; Raymond Simmons, Lorenzo C. Bennett (Roshawn), Reginald Roscoe Bennett, Johnny Clay Caldwell (Sue), Rosa Glover, Bernard Glover, Thomasine Walker, Elder Robin Simmons, and Tina N. Glover, 10 siblings, 20 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Bethel AME 150 Fairfield Avenue Stamford, CT. The viewing will be 10:00am to 11:00am immediately followed by A Home Going Celebration at 11:00am. Interment will proceed to Spring Grove Cemetery Darien, CT.
