Rosa Maria Sanchez

Rosa Maria Sanchez, age 60, of Bridgeport entered into heavenly rest on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at JFK Hospital. Rosa was a social worker who out reached to the homeless and mentally ill in the local area. She was known for her caring and persistent need of empowering members of her community. Rosa was born January 17, 1954 in San German, Puerto Rico daughter to the late Florencio Snchez and Fredy Cruz. Rosa is survived by her children; Marisol Snchez-Moycik, Marilyn Gmez and Vic Gmez. Rosa is also survived by her siblings; Carmen Nazario-Sanchez, Mara E. Snchez, Santos Casiano and Edwin Casiano. Rosa also leaves to cherish her memories to her grandchildren; Victoria Gmez, Amon Blake-Gmez, Natalya Moycik and Alyvia Harrington. Rosa will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends.
