Rosa Maria De Jesus

Rosa Maria DeJesus "Rosin" age 77 of Bridgeport, CT; the spouse of Candido Diaz, passed into heavenly rest on February 15, 2023 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Rosa was born on August 1, 1945 in Coamo, Puerto Rico she was one of 11 children of the late Juan DeJesus & Gloria Colon DeJesus. Rosa was raised in Puerto Rico and worked as a Hotel Manager. Rosa loved life. She enjoyed gardening, and admired the ocean, rivers and lakes, even though she did not know how to swim. Her greatest achievement was raising her children and 2 of her grandchildren. Besides her parents Rosa was predeceased by sons, Edgar Sanjurjo, Christian Sanjurjo; 5 siblings, Jose DeJesus, Guillo DeJesus, Yoyo DeJesus, Ani DeJesus, Chuito DeJesus, and Lucy DeJesus. Rosa is survived by: husband, Candido Diaz; daughters, Imma, Gladys, Glenda; siblings, Iris, Juano, Maria, Eli, Berto, Miriam; grandchildren, Fransico Jr, Stephanie, Edgar, Jamie, Chris Anthony, Jonathan, Giovanni, Yalixa, Mildred and many great grandchildren; extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Community Funeral Chapels 798 Park Ave. Bridgeport, CT. 06604 Tel:203-334-9999. Interment will be privately.
