Robert Willie Shipman

Robert Willie Shipman, age 60 of Hartford, CT, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 21, 2018. Robert was born October 25, 1958 in Bridgeport, CT., the beloved son of the late Willie Bowman & Marion (Kendall) Shipman. He grew up in Bridgeport and attended the Bridgeport School system. Robert was very optimistic, kind-hearted, and easy to talk to. He always had a smile on his face and loved to make others smile. He had a great sense of humor and was known for being quite a jokester. Robert was a sweet, loving, and helpful man who will be missed deeply. Robert was predeceased by his sister, Bernadette Sanchez and two brothers, David Jimmy Shipman and Robin Shipman. Robert is survived by sister, Terry Smith, brother, Calvin Shipman; sister, Francine Shipman, sister, Sylvia Shipman; many nieces & nephews; and a host of extended family and friends who will honor his memory.
