Robert R. Caban

Robert Caban, age 64, lifelong resident of Bridgeport, entered into peaceful rest Tuesday, November 10th 2020 surrounded by his loving family by his side. Roberto was born on December 11th 1955 the beloved son of the late Rafael Rivera Caban & Teresa Ramos Caban. Robert was affectionately known as Kitty. Robert was raised as a catholic in St. Mary's Church and was a graduate of Harding High School. Robert worked hard as a landscaper and detailed cars. In his pastime he enjoyed fishing, bicycling and played basketball. Robert was kind and cared for his family and friends. Besides his parents Robert was predeceased by: siblings, Richard Caban, Carmen Badillo, Delilah Caban, Filiberto Santiago and niece Lucy Santiago. Robert is survived by: companion, Carmen Cruz; daughter, Gina Caban; step children, Benny, Nela, Leo, Rey, Diane, Santy; siblings, Norma Iris Caban Rodriguez & brother-in-law Ramon Moran, Willie Caban, Daniel Caban; nephews, Angel Santiago, Jose Santiago, Pauly Rodriguez, Edwin Rodriguez; nieces, Asha Rodriguez, Chanel Rodriguez, Sophy Rodriguez, Miabella Rodriguez; one grandson; two step grandchildren, Aiden, Nino; two daughter-in-law, Rosie, Suzan; and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish his memory.
