Reynaldo 'Mikey' Soto

Reynaldo "Mikey" Soto, age 58 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Reynaldo was born May 6, 1960, in Miami, Florida; the beloved son of the late Angel Luis Soto & Paula Granado Soto. Reynaldo was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was an extremely hardworking man. Reynaldo owned various businesses including Soto's Cafe, Soto's Amusement Center, and Soto's Gift Shop. He also owned a variety of other properties in Bridgeport & Stratford. Reynaldo enjoyed sponsoring and coaching softball & baseball teams. He will be remembered most for his generosity, love for his family, and great sense of humor. Along with his father, Reynaldo was predeceased by his brother, Angel Luis Soto II. In addition to his mother, Reynaldo is survived by his: wife of 25 years, Judith Quinoes Soto; son, Michael Soto & daughter-in-law Brenda Nuez of Hartford; daughter, Jennifer Collazo of Bridgeport; son, Reynaldo Soto II of Florida; son, Randy Soto of Missouri; son, Angel Soto of East Hartford; daughter, Lisa Soto of New Haven; sister, Isabel Perez & brother-in-law Alfredo Perez of Bridgeport; brother, Ramiro Soto & sister-in-law Maritza Soto of Bridgeport; sister, Susan Soto of Bridgeport; sister, Juanita Rivera & brother-in-law Angel Rivera of Florida; sister, Ann Cuevas & brother-in-law Uriol Cuevas of Florida; sister, Margarita Segerra of Bridgeport; brother, Christian Soto & sister-in-law Maribel Soto of Bridgeport; nine grandchildren, Anthony Soto, Yailyn Soto, Yeila Soto, Chantel Collazo, Rayven Martin, Ray Martin, Ariana Soto, Ellybell Soto, Sophia Soto; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
