Restituo 'Rusty' Rivera

Restituto "Rusty" Rivera, age 76, of Bridgeport, departed this life, Friday, October 16, 2015 at his residence. Restituto was a loving father of two. Helpful, hard working jack of all trades, he owned and operated R&R cleaning for many years. Rusty enjoyed traveling and gardening and at home, cooking, playing cards, watching a good game of football with his dog. Restituto was an intellectual, deep in thought his charismatic demeanor will be missed by all who knew him. Restituto was born on Wednesday, May 25, 1939 in Hatillo, Puerto Rico. He was the sixth child of nine, beloved son of the late Antonio Rivera & Felipa Garcia. Besides his parents Restituto is predeceased by his brother Carmelo Rivera. Restituto is survived by: daughter, Darleen Coppola & son-in-law Andy Boyas of Greece; son, Robert James Rivera & daughter-in-law Sylvia Rivera of Florida; four sisters, Estilita, Raquel, Carmen, Olga Iris Rivera; two brothers, Hiram, Israel Rivera, all of PR; five grandchildren, Adrienne Gonzalez, Angelica Coppola, Alexis Coppola, Alexa Rivera, Robert James Rivera Jr; and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish his memory.
