Reinaldo "Pilli" Reyes

Reinaldo “Pilli” Reyes, age 48, passed away on September 2, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Virginia.Reinaldo was born on January 6, 1978, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. 

He was raised in Connecticut before moving to Puerto Rico, where he lived for seven years. He later made New York his home.Pilli was known for his easygoing nature and calm personality. He was a kind and peaceful person who enjoyed the simple things in life. One of his greatest passions was fishing, a pastime he truly loved and enjoyed. He also worked at a pet shop, where his love and appreciation for animals was a part of his life. Pilli did not have children, but he was loved and cherished by his family and those who knew him.

He was predeceased by his parents, Luis Reyes Sr. and Damaris Ruth Cuevas, as well as his brother, Jose Reyes.He leaves behind his siblings, Luis Reyes and Damaris Reyes, along with extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will continue to cherish his memory.

Funeral services for Reinaldo will be held Saturday September 19, 2026 from 11am-1pm at Community Funeral Chapels. Interment will be held privately.Reinaldo “Pilli” Reyes will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
