Raul Flores, age 79 of Bridgeport, entered into peaceful rest Friday, August 8th, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital, with his loving family by his side. A former employee of Remington Arms, Raul was a great provider and devoted father of six, married for fifty-two years to Milagros Flores. Besides spending time with his family Raul enjoyed a good game of dominos, fishing, singing and afternoons at Santa Marta Bodega. He was well loved by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed. Raul was born Thursday, February 7th, 1935 in San German, Puerto Rico. He was fourth of five children born to the late Eraclio Flores & Mercedes Rivera. Raul is survived by: wife, Milagros Flores; four daughters, Anette (Antonio Barreto) of NY., Iris (Juan Hernandez), Hilda (Ernesto Segui), Linda Flores (Sophy Gonzalez) of BPT; two sons, Raul Jr. (Maria Flores), Saul Flores (Maritza Javier) of STFD; nineteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish his memory.
