Ramonita Martorony

Ramonita Martorony, age 70, the widow of Eduardo Martorony, entered into peaceful rest Friday, January 8, 2016 at her Bridgeport residence with her loving family by her side. Ramonita was a dedicated Catholic of Saint Charles Borromero Church. She was a strict mother of six that was very attentive to her family. Ramonita often spoke her mind and had a great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed. Ramonita was born on September 25, 1945 in Ponce, Puerto Rico The beloved daughter of the late Ramon Camacho and Alejandrina Alvarez. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Eduardo Martorony of 50 years. Ramonita is survived by: six daughters, Mercedes Martorony & son-in-law Esfrain Torres of Puerto Rico, Maria Martorony of Bridgeport, CT., Berlis Martorony of New Haven, CT., Virna & son-in-law Luis Rodriguez of Bridgeport, CT., Maribel Martorony of Central Falls, RI., Yari Martorony of Bridgeport, CT.; stepson, Eduardo Martorony of Bridgeport, CT.; three brothers, Ramon Alvarez, Manuel Diaz, Andres Diaz; twenty-one grandchildren, Lismarie, Jesenia, Virguen, Jonathan, Vanessa, Esfrain, Timileida, Christina, Leslie, Jose, Ontoniel, Jaime, Edwin, Delaila, Eduardo, Darci, Keylin Pagan; caretaker, Juan Rodriguez.; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
