Ramonita Gonzalez

Ramonita Gonzalez, age 82 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Ramonita was born November 28, 1934 in Camuy, Puerto Rico, the beloved daughter of the late Francisco & Celia Cruz. Ramonita was a loving and compassionate mother of 6 and was known to always put her family first. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She often kept to herself and was extremely kind hearted. Those who had the honor of knowing Ramonita will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her son, Edwin Gonzalez. Ramonita is survived by: daughter, Noelia Pamias & son-in-law Miguel of Bridgeport; daughter, Irma Valle & son-in-law Michael of Bridgeport; daughter, Carmen Gonzalez of Florida; daughter, Lydia Gonzalez of Bridgeport; son, Luis Gonzalez of Bridgeport; sister, Maria Arocho; sister, Carmen Abrams; sister, Lucy Figueroa; brother, Miguel Cruz; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
