Ramez E. Lahham. Age 57 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 26, 2017. Ramez was the fourth born of five children. He was born in Beirut, Lebanon, the son Edmond & Yvette Lahham. Ramez migrated to US in 1976 his family owned and operated Ed's grocery & Park Package Liquor Store on Park Ave. In his later years his father passed and Ramez took the responsibility to tend to his mother. Ramez's love and support to his family & friends was unconditional. He was a father of five with a generous heart. Ramez owned George's Deli on Main St. in Bridgeport. Ramez, was predeceased by his father Edmond Lahham and sister Afaf Lahham Jabbour. Ramez is survived by: mother, Yvette Lahham of Trumbull; former spouse of twenty years Helene Lahham; three sons, Jihad & daughter-in-law Veronica Lahham of Bridgeport, George Russell Lahham of Bridgeport; three daughters, Shalia Russell Lahham of Bridgeport, Melissa Lopez Lahham of Naugatuck, Zayna Lahham of Wallingford; two brothers, George & sister-in-law Brenda Lahham of Bridgeport, Jay & sister-in-law Ruth Lahham of Florida; sister, Jacqueline Lahham Schalow of Virginia; nine grandchildren, Nalia Bernard, Nylah Bernard, Jihad Lahham, George Russell Jr, Zoey Russell, Kiahny Russell, Hailey Ramos, Marco Lopez, Anthony Lopez, and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
