Rafael Antonio 'Rafy' Vargas Jr.

Rafael "Rafy" Antonio Vargas Jr., age 44 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 4, 2018. Rafael was born on August 8, 1973 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, the beloved son of Rafael Antonio Vargas Sr. & Migdalia Gomez Ortiz. Rafael was a loving and caring father, brother, son, and friend. He was a hard worker and skilled carpenter. Rafael enjoyed poetry and going to the gym. He will be remembered most for the limitless love he had for his children. In addition to his parents, Rafael is survived by: son, Rafael Donavan Vargas; daughter, Laila Vargas; brother, Abraham Quintanilla Jr.; sister, Jessica Vargas; brother, David Quintanilla; sister, Lynnette Vargas; sister, Lymaris Vargas; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
