Rafael Martinez

Rafael Martinez, age 99, of Bridgeport, the widower of Margarita Martinez, entered into peaceful rest on Thursday, February 22, 2018 surrounded by the love and care of his family. Rafael was born January 10, 1919 in Coamo, Puerto Rico. Kind, courteous Rafael, was a dedicated worker of the Bridgeport Post for 33 years and a member of Saint Charles Church. He was a devoted husband for over 40 years until Margarita passed on. Rafael loved to spend time with his grandchildren and family. Rafael is survived by: son, Carlos Martinez; six grandchildren, Wendy, MeiLing,Maia, Alyssa, Liana, Carlos; three great grandchildren, Zane, Zion, Elias and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish his memory.
