Polita 'Candy' Rodrguez

Polita Rodrguez, age 51, of Bridgeport entered into heavenly rest Friday, September 26th, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. Polita was a very friendly, happy and good hearted person. She enjoyed doing various activities like dancing and listening to music. She was known for being a people person, and would always help others before helping herself. She was always there for her family and was a great friend among other things. Polita known to many as "Candy" was born on Tuesday, March 5th, 1963 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. Polita joins in heaven her sister Margarita Rodrguez. She is survived by her devoted companion Bobby Sears, parents; Francisco and Maria Rodrguez, her children; Lamont Jefferson, Maria Jefferson, Angela Filomeno, Angel Filomeno, and Ruben Maysonette, siblings; Francisco Rodrguez, Edwin Rodrguez, Eddie Rodrguez, Jackie Rodrguez, Evelyn Rodrguez, Victor Santos and Miriam Santos; grandchildren, Terria Johnson, David Rodrguez, Lamont Jefferson, Lauren Nieves, Jeilymar Nieves, Jaylen Mercado, Victor Nieves, Arielys Filomeno, and Layla Jefferson. Polita also leaves to cherish her memories to a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, family and friends. Polita will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
