Penelope Melissa 'Penny' Joseph

Penelope "Penny" Melissa Joseph (Blaine), age 49, of Bridgeport entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 26th, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital. Penelope was a friendly, loving and caring person that loved to read and was a sports fan. She was a long time companion to Mr. Edwards and adored her grandson. Penelope worked at Hartford Insurance as an Administrative Assistant. Penelope was also an active member at English Chapel-FBW Church where she ushered and was also involved in the youth choir. Penelope was born Sunday, January 12th, 1964 in Bridgeport, the youngest of eight children born to the late Thomas Blaine and Lois Freeman. Penelope is survived by her adoring children; daughter, Cecelia Blaine-Thomas and son, Jean Dominique Joseph. Penelope also leaves to cherish her memories to her loving siblings, sister, DeLois Ezekiel, sister, Rosemary Stancil, brother, Ulice Blaine and brother, Jeffrey Blaine all of Bridgeport. In death Penelope is reunited with her parents, sister, Grace Dicks, sister, Patricia Meauesby and brother, John Blaine. Penny also leaves to treasure her memories to grandson, Edwin Cephus Thomas III. Friends may greet the family Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. A Celebration of Penelope's Life will proceed from 7:30pm to 9:00pm officiated by Bishop Ernest Epps at English Chapel Cathedral of Miracles UFWB Church 285 Wilmont Ave. Bridgeport, CT. 06607.
