Olga Iris Padilla

Olga Iris Padilla, age 82 of Bridgeport, entered into the Lord's grace Friday, October 4th, 2013 at St. Vincent's Hospital, with her loving family by her side. Widowed by Juan Antonio Padilla, Olga was a loving wife and understanding mother. She was a strong willed, independent woman who enjoyed cooking and sharing the fruits of those labors with others. Olga loved her large extended family and would do anything for them. Olga's generosity, her kind spirit, will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Olga Iris Padilla was born Saturday, March 28th, 1931 in Manati, Puerto Rico and the eldest of 5 children, loving daughter of Maria Rodriguez. Olga is survived four sons: Juan Padilla, Freddy Padilla, Reinaldo Padilla and Hector Gonzalez; three daughters: Norma Padilla, Gladis Padilla, and Gloria Padilla. In death, Olga reunites with her beloved five sons: William Flores, Carmelo Pinto, Carlos Padilla, Miguel Gonzalez and Edgar Padilla. She also leaves to treasure her memories, 25 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren, in whose shining eyes and wide smiles she will always live on.
