Nicolas Albaladejo

Nicolas Albaladejo, age 75, of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, husband of Rosa Albaladejo has paased away on June 8th, 2020 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Nicolas was born on March 10th, 1945 to Paquita Hernandez and Nicolas Albaladejo in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who always put family first. He was big hearted, hard working, lovable, strong willed and could put a smile on anyone's face. Nicolas came to the United States in 1952 at the age of 7. He worked hard as a hospital police officer in New York for 31 years. He enjoyed serving his community and was loved by patients and fellow colleagues. Nicholas was baptized in 1976 as one of Jehovah Witnesses. He served our creator and taught his wife Rosa the truth about Jehovah. They created a bond with the word of Jehovah as their foundation. They attended meetings and are a part of the Highbridge congregation. On June 12, 1984 Nicolas went on to marry his soul mate, Rosa Albaladejo and remained married for 38 years. Nicolas had five children, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Nicolas was an avid traveler who enjoyed taking cruises, dancing, and good food. He took pride in his watch collection and his assembly of classic model cars. He was as social as he was handy and lived his life fully after retirement. Nicolas is predeceased by both of his parents and baby girl Shalimar. He is survived by his spouse Rosa Albaladejo; his children, Melissa and her children, Eric, Lydia, Erica; his grandchildren, Bianca, Shalimar, Nicholas, Maya; and great grandchildren Faith and Nyeli.
