Nereida Gonzalez

Nereida Gonzalez, age 49 of Bridgeport, entered into peaceful rest Sunday, August 17th, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. Nereida was a happy and loving person, loved to joke around, spend time with her family and help others with no hesitation. Nereida will be greatly missed by all her new her. Nereida was born on Saturday, January 16th, 1965 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. She was the ninth child of the late Brigido Gonzalez and Anastacia Rivera. Nereida is survived by her companion; Hugo Valiente and her two daughters; Odalys Torres, son-in-law, Jose Torres and Zoraida Torres. Nereida is also survived by her siblings; Gladys Ortiz, Zoraida Rivera, Carmen I. Pedro, Juan M. Pedro, Ebaristo Gonzalez, Barito Rivera, Martin Pedro and Manuel Gonzalez. In death, she will be reunited with her brother, Jose O. Cruz.
