Nayelis Lorraine Rivera "Mona Rabiosa" Nayelis Lorraine Rivera "Mona Rabiosa", age 3, of Bridgeport, was returned to heaven by her guardian angel on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 from Yale New Haven Hospital. Nayelis was born on September 29th, 2008 in Norwalk, Connecticut, a loving daughter of Yvette & Omar Rivera. Shortly after, at eight months, she was diagnosed with Leukemia and although she was chronically ill she was a vibrant and spunky fashion diva who loved monkeys and princesses. Nayelis was a true soldier who, throughout her journey, would always put up a fight with a smile on her face. Nayelis leaves a host of family and friends to cherish her memories, including her parents Yvette & Omar Rivera, siblings Nandiel, Omar and Norali Rivera, maternal grandparents Lorraine and Cruz Dumeng & Antonio Velez, paternal grandmother Tirsa Rivera. Friends may greet the family on Thursday, May 10th, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Community Funeral Chapels located at 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut. Interment will be held privately.
