Nancy DeJesus, age 52, of Bridgeport entered into peaceful rest Monday, July 22nd, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital. A single parent of two, Nancy provided for her family and helped friends in need. She loved listening to music, cooking and spending time with her family. She lived most of her adult life in El Batey Residential, Vega Alta, Puerto Rico. Even in a wheelchair Nancy would organize and execute events for the whole community. Nancy was born Saturday, September 17th, 1960 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, the third oldest of ten born to surviving mother Maria Vega and the late Juan DeJesus. Nancy is also survived by; son Luis E. Pagan & daughter-in-law Andrea Rivera of Bridgeport, CT., daughter Yesenia Santos of Windsor, CT., sister Maria Del Carmen DeJesus, twin sister Olga DeJesus, brother Juan Carlos DeJesus, sister Migdalia DeJesus, sister Wanda DeJesus, brother Donato DeJesus, sister Elizabeth DeJesus, brother Jose Ramon DeJesus, sister Milagros DeJesus, grandson David R. Santos, and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
