Myriam Candelario

Myriam Candelario, age 60, of Bridgeport, Connecticut entered eternal rest on August 19, 2022 surrounded by her family and friends in Bridgeport, Connecticut. On October 11, 1961 Myriam was welcomed into the world by her beloved parents Carmen Figueroa and Raul Candelario in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Myriam attended the Puerto Rico Public School system and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, in Bayamon. She had 2 children, Daniel and Jose Candelario. Myriam was a pillar in the community. She worked for WE Transportation in Bridgeport, CT as a bus monitor for many years. She was loved, respected and highly regarded by those who knew her best. Myriam enjoyed spending time with her family and making everyone laugh around her. She enjoyed feeding everyone whether she knew you or not. If you came to her house, you were welcomed with laughter, good food, warmth and most of all unconditional love. Myriam was known for always extending herself to others no matter what that meant. If she had it she gave it and if she didn't she found a way to get it. She was always in support of others and humbly loving and embracing everyone no matter what. She was genuine and authentically herself greeting everyone with some of her favorite catch phrases such as "you're the best of the west" or "esta fea para la foto." Myriam was predeceased by her life partner Miguel Vasquez. She leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Carmen Lydia Figuero de Garcia; father, Hector Raul Candelario; stepfather, Jose Ramon Garcia; 2 sons, Daniel Candelario and Jose Candelario of Bridgeport, CT; 3 grandchildren Aniza Candelario, Daniel Candelario and Noel Candelario; 1 daughter-in-law, Iris Medina; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Candelario and Doris Candelario of Bridgeport, CT; 3 nieces, Luz Lopez, Viviana Lopez-DeCampos and Sonia Lopez; 3 nephews, David Lopez, Josue Raul Ruiz and Jose Orlando Soto, Jr.; her dog Nemo and a whole host of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
