Miriam Esther Serra

Miriam Esther Serra, age 71, of Bridgeport entered into the Lord's grace, Thursday, October 24th, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. Widowed by Noel A. Serra, she was a loving wife and understanding mother of nine. She was an extraordinary cook and enjoyed making her delicious pasteles. Miraim provided food and shelter for those in need and had a green thumb for her gorgeous plants she nurtured. Miriam was caring, supporting and giving in every possible way, with a heart of gold. Miriam was born Friday, April 24th, 1942 in Salinas, Puerto Rico, the beloved daughter of surviving mother, Angela Santa Garcia and the late Jose Antonio Garcia. The oldest of five children, Miriam is survived by her adoring children; son, Ramon Louis Serra, son, Miguel Angel Lopez, daughter, Millie Vargas-Fischer, son, Angel Manuel Morales, daughter, Vilma W. Morales-Lopez and son, Hector Morales Santiago. In death Miriam is reunited with her parents, spouse and previously deceased son, Noel Serra, daughter, Marissa Serra and son, Juan Manuel Morales-Garcia. Also leaving to treasure her memories of 26 grandchildren and a host of great-grand children.
