Milagros 'Millie' Garcia

Milagros "Millie" Garcia, age 61, of Bridgeport entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. Millie was outgoing, loving and had a great sense of humor. Millie was a great mother and enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was a dedicated employee for Bridgeport Housing Authority and retired after many years. Millie was born February 7, 1952 in Bridgeport, Connecticut the third child of the late Augusto Castro Sr. and Francisca "Cardona" Castro. Millie is survived by Rafael Garcia her husband of forty-three years and her son Gilbert Garcia. Millie is also survived by her siblings; Margarita Jardim, Brunilda Rivera, William Castro, John Castro, Frank Castro, James Castro, Manuel Castro and Augusto Castro Jr., grandchildren; Kayla Garcia, Kellie Garcia, Keily Garcia, Rafael Garcia III, Jo-Elle Garcia and great granddaughter, Ciana Reyes. In death, Millie will be reunited with her father, Augusto Castro Sr. and her son; Rafael Garcia Jr. Millie leaves a host of extended family and friends that will cherish her memory.
