Milagros "Millie" Astacio

Milagros Astacio, affectionately known as “Millie,” of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, at St. Vincent’s Hospital.

She was 58 years old.

Born on December 26, 1966, at Bridgeport Hospital, Millie was the beloved daughter of Alfredo Gonzalez and the late Maria Reyes. She was raised in Bridgeport, where she spent her formative years surrounded by the love of her close-knit family.Millie dedicated her life to caring for others, working with compassion and devotion as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and selfless nature touched the lives of countless patients and families. To those who knew her, Millie was a source of comfort, encouragement, and unwavering love. She cherished her role as a mother and grandmother above all else.

Millie is survived by her two adored children, Jonathan Astacio and Amanda Gonzalez, and her three beloved grandchildren, Jazibela, Destiny, and Melody, who brought endless joy and pride to her life. She also leaves behind her loving siblings: Mirta Gonzalez, Marilyn Gonzalez, Adalexie Gonzalez, and Jovany Gonzalez.

Millie was predeceased by her mother Maria Reyes, whom she now joins in eternal rest.She will be remembered for her kind heart, her strong faith, and her ability to brighten every room she entered. Millie’s legacy will live on in the love she shared and the many lives she touched.Family and friends will deeply miss her presence but will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
